This year’s International Festival is October 26-28 at the Raleigh Convention Center. The theme is “Celebrations Around the World.” Carolyn Graf’s hard at work creating a replica of a Robert Burns Dinner in our Scottish Cultural Booth, representing this important celebration to Scots around the world.
Make plans to visit the SCOT booth at the festival or even volunteer for a shift to man the booth. Volunteers at the booth greet visitors, engage them in conversation about Scotland and discuss our interpretation of the festival theme. It’s a fulfilling experience that helps visitors learn more about Scotland and gives volunteers a chance to connect with the community. SCOT members interested in volunteering should contact Emily Sprague for more information.
